Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-08-31 · Applies to the Quanta web app and the Quanta Android app (which loads the same platform).

The short version: Quanta is built so your data stays yours. Your memory lives on your device, not our servers. Voice is processed on your own hardware wherever your device allows it. We run no advertising, no tracking SDKs, and we never sell data — to anyone, ever.

What stays on your device

Sovereign Memory — the things Quanta remembers about you across sessions — is stored only in your browser or app, on your device. It is never uploaded. You can export it (optionally encrypted with a passphrase only you hold) and delete it at any time from the Memory panel.
Conversations are kept locally on your device.
On-device models (Quanta Super Speed) run entirely on your own hardware; those conversations never leave your machine at all.
Voice: dictation and read-aloud run on your own device where your hardware supports it. On Android, speech recognition and speech output use your phone's own system services.

What reaches our servers, and why

Prompts you send to cloud models are transmitted to generate the reply and are processed transiently. We do not use your conversations to train models.
Web-grounded answers send your query to our search provider to fetch results.
Account data, if you create an account: your sign-in identifier, session, and subscription tier.
Billing is handled by Stripe. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe's own privacy policy governs that data.

What we don't do

No advertising, and no advertising SDKs.
No sale or sharing of personal data with data brokers.
No fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.

Permissions (Android app)

The Android app requests the microphone only for the voice features (dictation and Live Voice), used at the moment you invoke them. It requests network access to reach the Quanta platform. Nothing else.

Deleting your data

Local data (memory, conversations) can be cleared from within the app at any time, and is removed if you uninstall the Android app or clear the site's data in your browser. To delete an account and its server-side records, contact us through the channels on our store listing or the app.

Children

Quanta is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. The direction it changes in is fixed by how the product is built: toward your data staying yours.
